• Do Good Leadership Collective’s mission is to help nonprofit professionals Do Good and Be Well. We envision a social impact and nonprofit sector where wellbeing is universally recognized as essential to leadership and organizational success.

  • The nonprofit sector is built on the passion and dedication of its people, yet systemic inequities, burnout, and underinvestment often threaten their ability to thrive. At Do Good Leadership Collective, we exist to challenge the status quo, proving that cultures of care are not just a moral imperative—they are the foundation of sustainable social impact. We believe in embedding wellbeing into leadership practices and organizational strategies. We do this by helping nonprofits learn to better care of and nourish their people through wellbeing learning programs.

    • Optimism: We approach every challenge with hope and a belief in the possibility of positive change.

    • Equitable Access: We create spaces of inclusivity and belonging where all voices are valued, and resources are distributed to support sustainable success for everyone.

    • Sustainability: We prioritize long-term solutions over temporary fixes. We believe in deeply embedding wellbeing mindsets into organizational culture.

    • Compassion: We lead with empathy, creating safe spaces for exploration, growth, and transformation for individuals and teams.

    • Radical Self-Care: We are unapologetic about our commitment to self-care. We believe that self-care is one of the most selfless things we can do. Self-care is a radical act of sustainability.

We help social impact professionals Do Good and Be Well.

Meet Loretta

Hi, I’m Loretta, the Founder of Do Good Leadership Collective. My journey to creating this organization began in 2013 with firsthand experiences as a nonprofit leader navigating burnout, systemic inequities, and the persistent challenge of balancing mission-driven work with my own care. I was working as frontline staff for a grassroots nonprofit, teaching yoga to incarcerated women. As fulfilling as the work was, I needed more support, like access to healthcare and other mental health resources. Unfortunately, those resources never became available to me.

These struggles sparked a vision that I’ve been developing for over a decade: to create a space where social impact and nonprofit professionals could not only survive the demands of their work, but thrive in it.

Do Good Leadership Collective (affectionately nicknamed Do Good) was born from this vision to address the gaps, disconnection, and frustration I witnessed in the sector. Combining my expertise as a nonprofit leader, wellness facilitator, and leadership coach, I set out to support workplace cultures and nonprofit communities that were ready to prioritize compassion, care, and equity. I hope you consider partnering with Do Good to help you and your team’s impact story include care, love, and wellbeing for one another and your own needs.

Florine Causer, Strategic Communications & Wellbeing Consultant

Hi, I'm Florine! When I first entered the workforce, I couldn’t help but notice how many people seemed unhappy in their roles. It made me wonder, and soon, I realized I wanted to do something about it—for both them and myself. I’ve seen how a little support, the right space, and honest conversations can make all the difference in keeping that spark alive. Now, with Do Good Leadership Collective, I get to help create spaces where people can reconnect with what truly lights them up.
